This picture shows a sleepy looking meerkat that is sitting on a sunny rock as it relaxes in the afternoon. Meerkats are extremely sociable animals, although they are very territorial. While they look undeniably cute, thanks in no small part to the 'Compare the Market' insurance advertising campaign on television, they can actually be quite aggressive when the need arises.
