Roofing felt sheets come in short rolls of up to ten metres in length, usually being one metre deep / wide. Various different grades are available, although the cheapest tend to rip very easily if you are not extremely careful. A topping with tar and gravel is the traditional way to finish a shed roof or a flat roof that is part of a house extension.
