The cross is rather Gothic in its appearance, with ornate carving forming swirls, circles and patterns. A pathway of irregular paving stones leads through the graveyard and towards the other gravestones, with many of the individual graves being planted with seasonal bulbs and flowers, such as yellow daffodils and crocuses. A bench is positioned outside of the church, so that any visitors can sit down and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside.
