Linear drainage channels are necessary on some paved areas, such as driveways and patios, where water would otherwise collect and puddle. By topping with a metal grill such as the one pictured, it will stop the channel becoming blocked up with leaves and other debris, as well as preventing it from becoming a potential tripping hazard.
