Block paving is an expensive way to surface a driveway, although the overall appearance is certainly attractive and practical. Costs can be reduced by shopping around for cheaper bricks and doing as much of the work yourself as possible. However, substantial foundations are important in the form of a deep layer of compacted hardcore.
