Any seaside house that is close to the sea will suffer gradual weather erosion, thanks to the constant spray of salt from the sea, especially during the harsh winter months. This particular building has therefore opted for a facade of hexagonal slate tiles on its front exterior wall, while the wooden windows have started to rot, with flaking white paintwork.
