This Christmas village display features many homemade elements, so that the scene can be created on a real shoestring budget, although it was certainly tempting to purchase lots of porcelain houses from Lemax. By designing the houses on PhotoShop and printing them out onto card, the overall costs were minimal and certainly far more affordable than the seasonal shop-bought offerings.
