Red telephone kiosks date all the way back to the 1920s, with production stopping in the middle of the 1980s. However, many remain standing all over Britain, being celebrated as an icon of the era. This particular box (a K6 model) is showing signs of the paint peeling and fading in the sunshine, being in need of a fresh coat of paint in the not too distant future.
