There are numerous different ways to light a barbecue with charcoal briquettes, such as fire-lighters and lighter fluid. However, one easy method is to simply cut up a few pieces of a cotton T-shirt, soak them in vegetable oil and use them as very effective, cost-free homemade fire-lighters.
