Metal and terracotta chimineas are often sold in garden centres, due to their outdoor use. They generally feature a round, bulbous shaped oven compartment at the base, which is connected to a tall chimney. The chimney both vents the smoke away from people sitting nearby, while also helping to aerate and keep the fire below burning strongly.
