Hebes will happily grow in large pots and gardens where the soil is free-draining, and preferably either neutral or slightly alkaline in its PH. The shrub is known for its bushy, shrubby appearance, creating a mound of foliage and rarely needing to be pruned in its life, unless it outgrows its allotted space.
