The lanterns are made from granite and reconstituted stone, both of which will eventually start to attract moss and lichen as they age. The azaleas are clipped to form round ball shapes. While they are at their most attractive when in flower, the azaleas provide interest throughout the rest of the year, with their evergreen foliage and neat topiary shapes.
