Granite blocks are a popular feature of many gardens, often being used to line pathways and edge borders, particularly in Japanese gardens. Patterns made using blocks, bricks and paving slabs are easy to create with a little imagination. Spirals and concentric circles can inject some personality and character into an otherwise plain and possibly boring patio area.
