Painting tiles is a quick, cheap and easy way to change the colour and hide any ugly old, dated patterns. However, it is important that the tiles are thoroughly cleaned first and that the correct paint is used - 'tile paint'. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and then you will end up with a durable, waterproof surface. Re-grouting will make the paint effect look all the more realistic.
