Stock Images of Curly Kale (Vegetable Gardens)

Pictures include some curly leafed varieties of kale (borecole), a member of the brassica family, with green and purple leaves. This type of brassica is regarded by many to be a super-vegetable, due to it containing large amounts of beta carotene, vitamins and calcium, as well as its proven anti-cancer attributes. Kale can be boiled, steamed, stir fried or cooked in the microwave, although it is also often used as a healthy raw ingredient in fruit smoothies.
